It Takes a Village

You've probably heard the phrase "it takes a village to raise a child".  It's attributed to an African proverb and represents the simple idea that children and families thrive when they have a community around them with whom they exchange emotional support and nourishment.

But the unfortunate reality is that most families who struggle with mental health issues find themselves isolated, alone, and misunderstood by their family, friends, and neighbors. Even well-meaning folks have a hard time understanding the struggles families face everyday when they're battling mood disorders, bipolar disorder, and Fear of Harm.

CMHRC Is Here To Help

At CMHRC we are building a community that

meets the needs of children and families living with mood disorders, bipolar disorder, and Fear of Harm. Our programs and services aren't some piecemeal approach that slaps a bandage on their troubles. CMHRC is a destination, filled with parents, caregivers, providers, and professionals who are dedicated to making sure no one has to face these disorders alone.

CMHRC Is Your Village
