New Website, Find Help Faster
for Better Support!

We have big news here at the Children's Mental Health Resource Center: our new website has officially launched and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you!

Whether you're a parent searching for answers at midnight, or a mental health provider fitting in CE credits between sessions, or you're looking for the latest clinical resources, our website was redesigned from the ground up to get you where you need to go, faster and more easily than ever before.

For Families:
Help Is Easier to Find

When you're in the thick of navigating your child's mood disruptions, you don't want to wait for help. The last thing you need is a website that makes you work to find it. Our redesigned Families section puts everything front and center, including our flagship programs for families:

  • Ketogenic Therapy: Emerging research on the connection between metabolic health and mood disorders is creating real hope for families, and we're here to guide you through every option
  • Palliative ParentingTM: Our compassionate Palliative ParentingTM program was built for parents who are learning to care for themselves while caring for a child with a serious mood disorder. Our site now has a streamlined path to access the on-demand course, register for a face-to-face class, or complete a study interest form (to access the program at no cost) all from one central hub
  • Additional Support: Wayfinder personalized support, community webinars, family stories, and the latest research are all just a click away, organized clearly so you spend less time searching and more time finding help.

For Providers:
Our Professional Support Hub is Ready for You

Clinicians, this one's for you. CMHRC has launched a fully accessible Continuing Education Portal, loaded with accredited options designed to fit your busy schedule.

Same Mission, Clearer Path Forward

CMHRC's mission has always been to provide guidance and resources for families and providers to support early identification and management of mood disorders in children. Our new website is a clear expression of that commitment. Every page was redesigned with one question in mind:

Does this make it easier for families and providers to get the help they need? We think the answer is a resounding yes! Come see for yourself at cmhrc.org.

What Happened to You?: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing

April 16th, 2026 - 8:30pm Eastern Time

Our earliest experiences shape our lives far down the road, and What Happened to You? provides powerful scientific and emotional insights into the behavioral patterns so many of us struggle to understand.

Have you ever wondered “Why did I do that?” or “Why can’t I just control my behavior?” Others may judge our reactions and think, “What’s wrong with that person?” When questioning our emotions, it’s easy to place the blame on ourselves; holding ourselves and those around us to an impossible standard. It’s time we started asking a different question.

Through deeply personal conversations, Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain and trauma expert Dr. Bruce Perry offer a groundbreaking and profound shift from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”

Join us for a deep dive discussion.
